Johnnie Lee Marsh, 72, was born to John Franklin Marsh and Vera Oleta Marsh (Morris) on July 21, 1948 in Fort Worth, Texas. He passed away from complications of COVID-19 on January 12, 2021 in Denton, Texas.

John graduated from Springtown High School, class of 1966, and lived his entire life in the DFW metroplex. An Army veteran, having served in Viet Nam, John's whole life revolved around the love he had for his family and friends. He found joy in his work alongside the laughter with his colleagues in the construction and environmental protection industries and was loyal to the core.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Oleta Marsh, sister Mamie Ann Marsh, and an infant daughter.

John is survived by his wife, Wendy Lowerre Marsh, their children Whitney Pilar Marsh and Bryan Baker of San Francisco, California, Richard and Diania Marsh of Fort Worth, Texas, and Wm. Stuart Marsh of Fort Collins, Colorado.

Other family members include his sister Margaret Ellen Henson and Jackie Geary of Springtown, brother John Franklin Marsh and wife Tracy of Granbury, niece Leila Coffman and Mitch Jones of Springtown, and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all whom he dearly loved.

John is not gone from our lives, he's just out fishing.
