John Howard Riley passed away in Bedford, Texas at 88 years old. He was born in Krum, Texas to James and Stella Riley on June 30, 1932. John married the late Gail Winstead in 1955 in Denton, Texas. He enjoyed ranching and working on the farm and was an avid Texas Longhorns fan and member of the First Baptist Church of Decatur. John is preceded in death by his wife, parents, brother Wilber Riley and his sisters Delma Jones and Susie Blackstock.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 10 am to 4 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, January 11, 2021 also at DeBerry's with interment following at Jackson Cemetery in Krum.

John is survived by his sons Steve Riley and wife Pam of Weatherford, Scott Riley of Decatur and Mark Riley and wife Michelle of Colleyville, daughter Brenda Everett and husband Paul of Euless, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
