Johnilu Love passed away on October 5, 2012 after a brief illness. She was born on December 28, 1930 in the piney woods of East Texas in Camden, Texas. She married John Earl Love on July 6, 1950 in Fort Worth. She graduated from North Texas State University in 1968. She taught English and History in Argyle after she graduated. She was an avid Reader and loved Architecture. She and her husband owned North Texas Electronics in Denton.

Johnilu is survived by her daughter, Alexa Ballantyne and husband Greg; sons, John Gary Love and wife Jenny Hall, and James Love and wife Tammi; 4 grandsons, Jonathan, Jarred, Jordan and Michel Love; one great granddaughter, Tyler Love. Her husband John Earl Love and her sister Sue York, preceded her in death.

There will be a private family service at a later date.
