Johnny Wayne Dillon, 55, of Denton passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021 at his home.

Johnny Wayne was born to Wayne Ray & Mildred (Wright) Dillon on October 31, 1965 in Denton, Texas. He graduated from Denton High School in 1984. On April 3, 2014, Johnny married the love of his life, Crystal (Howard). They spent 7 wonderful years together. Johnny was employed by the University of North Texas in Denton.

Johnny's greatest pleasures in his life were attending his church, Bolivar Baptist Church, his children, family gatherings, taking walks with his daughters, Macee & Kylee, playing catch with his son, Jarrett and listening to music, with Hank Williams, Jr. being his favorite.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Madison; mother, Mildred Dillon; grandparents, John & Audrey Wright, Dub & Johnny Mae Dillon

Johnny is survived by his wife, Crystal Dillon of Denton; son, Jarrett Dillon; daughters, Macee & Kylee Dillon; father, Wayne Dillon; sister, Melissa Dillon Hernandez & husband William; nephews, Ryan & Brandon Dillon & Josh Gonzales; aunts, uncles, cousins & a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Brad Chenault, Michael Laird, RyanDillon, Brandon Dillon, Danny Dillon & honorary pallbearer Josh Gonzales.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 5-7PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM.

Interment will follow at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, Texas.
