Jolinda Sue Tidwell went to see her Lord and Savior Saturday, February 6, 2021 at her home peacefully in her sleep. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Donald and Freda Epps on October 30, 1961. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Tidwell, and her parents Donald and Freda.

She lived a full life, and if you spoke to her she would be sure to tell you about her 5 children, about one or all of her 9.5 grandchildren, the next place she wanted to travel to, or about finding and cooking great food. If you spoke to her long enough, you would probably hear about all of those things. Jolinda's love language was gift giving, and she doted on her friends, family, children, and especially grandchildren as often as she could.

Jolinda graduated from Gatesville High School in Gatesville, Texas. She attended the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and earned the Bachelors of Science in Nursing and had a successful career in nursing. She had 5 children, moved to South Carolina and then Reno and Las Vegas, NV before moving back to Texas with her husband John and daughter Shianna.

Before her death she was able to see 4 of her children marry and 9 of her grandchildren born. To experience all of these events could not have made her happier.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at 2 PM at Benchmark Bible Church.

She is survived by her son Russell and Laura Wallace and children Levi, Ava, and Jayden; son Mark and Amy Wallace and children Aidan and Alyssa; son Scott and Jessica Wallace and children Ian, Tommy, and Grace; son Nick and Sawyer Wallace; daughter Shianna Tidwell and John. She is also survived by her bother Larry Epps, sister Stacey Epps and sister Hollibeth Parham.
