Jose D. Duran, 94 of Corinth, TX, passed away Thursday evening at Medical City Denton.  He was born in Mexico to Angel Duran and Maria Duran on June 10, 1929.

He married Micaela Ortiz Cornejo in November 13, 1950. They had 8 children together.

He was a Farmer his passion was growing sunflowers, and all types of flowers. His main job was to grow vegetables for restaurants and farmer's markets in Santa Fe New Mexico.

A Rosary will be said at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023 with a Funeral Mass to begin at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Mark Catholic

Church in Argyle with Father George officiating.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.

Jose is survived by his daughter, Maria Celina Gomez

Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
