Josefa Pedraza, 83, of Justin, Texas, passed away on September 3, 2025. She was born in San Benito/Cameron County, Texas, on January 27, 1942, to Fredrico and Rosa Rodriguez.

While growing up, Josefa was a hardworking student throughout her school years. She married Rogerio Pedraza Jr. and moved to Justin Tx, where she started her family with a daughter, Maria Emma Brostoski. She devoted her life to her family. Josefa enjoyed working for her community as a social worker as well as a Director of Elementary Religious Education for Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. After working, she retired and settled down. After many blessed years, grandkids and a great-grandchild joined her to make the family whole. She was surrounded by love and support from her family.

Josefa is survived by her husband, Rogerio "Roy" Pedraza Jr., her daughter, Maria Emma Brostoski, granddaughters, Abigail Diana Garza, and Katrina Marie Brostoski, grandson, Rogerio Alan Brostoski, great-grandson, Rogerio Alan Brostoski, Jr., her sisters,Maria Emma Williams, Irma Zammora, and Lupita Castaenda, and brother, Elias Rodriguez.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and brothers, Max Rodriguez and Sam Rodriguez.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 5-7. A Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 10. 2025 at 10:00 AM. Internment will be held at Jackson Cemetery in Krum, Texas.
