Josefina Torres 72 of Denton passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019 at her residence.  She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on July 24, 1947 to Reyes Ruiz and Benedicta Sias Ruiz.  She married Jose E. Torres.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 6-8:00 p.m. for Visitation and a Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.

Josefina is survived by her husband, Jose E. Torres of Denton, daughter, Melissa Alonzo of Denton, son, Eralio Torres of Sanger, sister, Olivia Varela of Mexico, brothers, Norberto Ruiz of Denton, Guillermo Ruiz of Colorado, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
