Joseph Franklin R. Garcia, 55, of Denton, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013. He was born on February 16, 1958 in Haskell, Texas to Frutoso Garcia and Francisca Rodriquez Garcia. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He loved passing his time with family and running and managing Joseph's Beauty Hair Salon.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm with a Rosary starting at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at DeBerry Funeral Directors. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Domingo Tonche, Jr., Jaime Garcia, Andrew Mendoza, Johnny Lozano, Jr., Jody Garcia, Gabriel Lozano, Sean Dorwaldt, and Jerry Hilliard.

Joseph is survived by his sisters, Yolanda Garcia Lozano, Lorenza Garcia Tonche, Matilda Garcia Mendoza, and Mary Sylvia Garcia Dorwaldt; and brothers, Rafael, Domingo, and Frutoso Jr. Garcia. He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Santos Garcia of Denton, Lucio Garcia of Denton, and Antonia Garcia Perez of Olton, TX.
