Joseph David Sanders, Sr., 75, of Aubrey, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at his residence. He was born July 26, 1939 in Okmulgee, OK to Thomas McKinney Sanders and Thelma Lillian Fulmer Sanders. He married Beverly Ann Yates on June 12, 1964 in North Richland Hills. He retired from American Airlines where he was a Senior Programmer and Analyst. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Denton, was a Deacon and licensed Minister.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Mr. Gerald Stone and Mr. Joseph Sanders, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. Pallbearers will be Charles Yates, Fritz Schanz, Cory Thomas, Andy Cordell, Drew Cordell, Will Cordell and Jordan Sanders.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly of Aubrey; daughter, Susan Rae Cordell of McKinney; son, Joseph David Sanders, Jr. of Sugarland; 4 grandchildren, Drew, Will, Jordan and Jenna; sister, Maxine Quesada of Austin; brother, Kenneth Sanders of Nalcrest, FL. He is preceded in death by his mother and father.
