Joshua Wayne Montandon, 39, of Sanger went to be with the Lord on August 29, 2017 in Sanger, Texas. He was born on December 15, 1977 in Kremmling, Colorado to Paul Raymond and Sarah Jane (Ball) Montandon.

Josh grew up in Colorado and enjoyed spending his time hiking in the mountains. He left there to join the Marines. Upon discharge, Josh attended York College in Nebraska, meeting his wife of 17 years while there.
Following graduation, they moved to Denton, Texas, so he could attend graduate school.
Life was busy and Josh was an excellent provider for his family.
Once children came along, Josh loved to sing hymns to his children, play games with them and make up silly stories and songs to entertain them.

Joshua is survived by Rochelle Montandon and his four children, Samuel, Emmy, Henry and Abigail; his parents, Paul and Sarah Montandon; his siblings, Caleb Montandon and his wife Heather along with Amanda Spriggs and her husband Jacob; four nieces and nephews Silas, Jael, Asa, and Robert; his grandmother, Mary Lois Montandon and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandfather.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday September 3, 2017 at 5:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Tex
