Josie Alma Haley, 93, of Denton, TX passed way on November 21, 2016 in Denton, TX. She was born on January 3, 1923 to Waymon and Eva Mayfield in McMinnville, TN.

She was a loving mother to her sons and was devoted to the care of her special needs daughter.  She was a member of the Singing Oaks Church of Christ, in Denton, TX.

She is survived by her son Bob (Scarlet) Haley of Pekin, IL, daughter Susie Haley of Denton, TX, daughter-in-law Kay Haley of WVC, UT, daughter in law, Brenda Haley of Denton, TX, brother Auburn Mayfield of McMinnville, TN, sister-in-law Joyce Mayfield of McMinnville, TN, grandkids; Tammy(Ed) Fultz, Robert (Heidi) Haley, Daniel Haley, Rebecca Morris, Amy Feller, Brian(Caroline) Haley, Holly(Derick) Lilly, Ty Davis, Clint Davis, Amy Milton; 20 great grandkids and 5 great great grandkids; nephews Anthony(Anita) Mayfield, Kendal Mayfield.

She is preceded in death by her Mother and Father, husband Johnnie B. Haley Sr., son Johnny Ben Haley Jr., 4 Sisters and 4 Brothers and 1 Niece.

The family would like to give special thanks to Brenda Haley for the many years of loving care she provided for Alma.

Funeral Services will be held at Singing Oaks Church of Christ in Denton on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 1:30 P.M. Interment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery at Navel Air Station Pensacola, Pensacola, Florida on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 2:00 P.M.
