Joyce Bowen, 76 of Aubrey, TX passed away Saturday evening at Presbyterian Hospital, after a day of laughter and fun with family and friends.  She was born to Stanley and Hazel Frost, St. Louis, MO on February 20, 1940.  She was a retired executive focusing on family, friends and her health.

A memorial service will be held at the DeBerry Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 28 ^th , celebrating her life.  Her family and friends are invited to celebrate her life and loves Saturday.  A lunch will be hosted at the family farm after the service for fellowship as she wished.

Joyce Bowen is survived by her son, Rick Bowen and daughter-in-law Stacey Bowen, of The Colony, TX.  Daughter: Cindy Mitchell of Vieques, Puerto Rico – formerly of Denton County, TX.  Daughter-In-Law: Adriana Hackney. Grandsons: Preston Mitchell, Jonathan Hackney and Christopher Hackney.  Sister: Marjorie Place.  Brother Paul Sonny Boyd.  She is preceded by her beloved husband: George Bowen and sister: Darla Miller.

Joyce loved her family beyond measure and her grandchildren meant the world to her.  Her friends were as good as gold and she cherished those friendships.  Truly a strong and amazing woman, admired by those who knew her and loved her.
