Joyce Valinda Rodriguez was born in McAllen, TX to Guadalupe and Elma Rodriguez on December 21, 1953. Joyce lived everyday to the fullest and had an impact on every single person she met. She loved with her whole heart and never met a stranger. Joyce cherished spending time with her family and creating special moments with those she loved. She will always be remembered for her free spirit and loving heart.

Joyce Valinda Rodriguez passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 25, 2024. She is preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe and Elma Rodriguez, brother Mark Steven Rodriguez. She is survived by her daughters Elma Yvette and Tessa Andrea Rodriguez, son in law Rooster Leyva. Partner Margarito Lopez. Grandchildren Christian, Adonica, Joel, and Gabriel. Step mother Barbara Rodriguez, sister Francine Rodriguez and brothers Lee, Gary, and Cruz Rodriguez. Along with 6 nephews and 5 nieces. We all loved her so much and her memory will live in us forever.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, March 1, 2024 at DeBerry Funeral Directors with a visitation to start at 2:00 PM.
