Joyce Evelyn Sauter passed away in Corinth, Texas on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. She was born in Krum, Texas on October 21, 1936 to Melvin and Omie Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband George and daughter Bonita Zinsmeyer along with her brothers, Terry, Tommy and Donald Johnson.

Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers:  Bryan Zinsmeyer, Chad Masters, Brandy Slavinski, Courtney Schwab, Stephen Canada, Amanda Stone, Chase Kubiak, Shyanne Greenway, Shaughn and Sheridan McClintock.

Survivors include her son Calvin Lang of Krum, daughter Virginia Smithers and husband Robert of Aubrey, daughter Fondayne Williams of Sanger. along with 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, 1 brother, 3 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 12, 2024 at DeBerry Funeral Home with Brother Dickie Amyx officiating.  Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Krum.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM, Friday, January 12, 2024 prior to the funeral services.
