Judith Roach Watkins, 77 of Denton, Texas passed away on November 15, 2023, in Denton. She was born in Kansas City, MO, on June 16, 1946, to George and Charlotte (Duncan) Roach.

She had a charismatic, friendly, easy-going spirit, and was passionate about helping others and the community through her career as a social worker and her active participation in the Democratic party and multiple other local communities. She was full of life, loved by many, and she particularly enjoyed art and gardening.

She is survived by her sons, Stephen Moore and his wife, Alicia of Austin, TX, Jon Watkins and his wife, Barbara Ankley of Denton, sister, Nancy Deisenroth and husband Marty of Georgia, brothers, Pat Roach and wife Anne Virtue of Washington, and Dennis Roach and wife Robin of Missouri, sisters-in-law, Anne Cahill of Illinois, and Robin Roach of Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and brothers, Paul Roach, and Mike Roach, and granddaughter Lily Moore.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 11:00 AM, until 12:00 PM, at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.  A Vigil service will be held at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.
