Judy Ben Gee passed away peacefully at her home in Denton, Texas on Sunday, November 10, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her life partner, Blake Edwards and her beloved pets. Judy was born September 13, 1955 to Benny Gee and LaVerne Johnson Rose. Judy began her career at Weldon's Saddle Shop through the DE program at Denton High School. Upon graduation, she attended Tarleton State University for two years. She later moved to Denver, Colorado, where she worked for Frontier Airlines. After returning to Denton, she worked at TWU and did office work for several companies including Jeter 3 before retiring. Judy enjoyed watching football, rodeos and thrift shopping. Judy will be remembered for her generosity, kindness, and her beautiful smile.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jana Williamson. She is survived by her life partner, Blake Edwards, her sisters Jill Mosley (John), Jerri Gee (Joe), Stepsister Julie Rose Gleason (Patrick), stepmother, Beverly Gee, stepbrothers, Steve Gee (Stacy), Mike Gee (Carol), numerous cousins as well as many lifelong friends and her beloved dog Marley,

Visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 1-3. Judy will be laid to rest after a graveside service at Zion Cemetery in Frisco, TX at 1PM on Monday, November 18, 2024 with Joe Howard Williamson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Cody Cavness, John Jeter, Danny Redfearn, Kolby Campbell, David Ganzer and Eric Kull. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Edwards, David Wilkinson, Matt Harper and Paul Peers.
