Judy Ann Purser passed away at her home, in Lake Dallas, on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 72 years of age.  She was a mother, Grammy, sister, aunt, and friend to many.  She was very proud of her daughters, Donna Smith and Cindy Pradier, and loved her granddaughters, Lauren, Karli and Karlen, with all of her heart.  She also loved her sons- in-law, James Pradier and Paul Smith and treasured her chihuahua, Goldie.  She is survived by her siblings Barbara Pyles, Marilyn Beaty, and Tommy Purser, and many nieces and nephews.

Judy was born in San Diego, CA to Fred and Pearl Purser, who both predeceased her.  She graduated from Lake Dallas High School with the class of 1969, and returned to college later in life, attending Cooke County College and graduating with a Bachelor's degree From TWU in 1999.  She worked at Jostens for over 40 years and retired in 2020.  She also proudly served as a CASA Advocate for many years.  She enjoyed helping raise money for CASA with her skeet shooting teams, where she received several trophies.  Judy enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her family and friends.

Judy's memorial service will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors, 2025 West University, Denton, TX 76201, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 6 p.m.
