June Gentry, 85, Argyle, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015 in Flower Mound. She was born June 25, 1929 in Styx, Texas to Jasper Lee Elston and Ollie Lee Bateman Elston. She married Robert Clyde Gentry on July 19, 1948 in Beaumont, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2013. She was a member of Argyle Church of Christ, graduated from NTSU in 1972, and had taught 3rd grade at Argyle Elementary School.

Visitation will be Monday, June 1, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Graveside service will be Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Graham-Argyle Cemetery in Argyle.

She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Palakiko of Corinth; son, David Gentry of Dallas; grandchildren, Colin Palakiko, Briand Gentry, and Madison Gentry; 1 great grandchild, Aidyn Wetherell; brothers, Clifford Elston of Kemp, Bonar Elston of Irving and Jerry Elston of Chandler.
