June Marble Wells, 77, of Denton went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 2, 2018 in Dallas, Texas surrounded by her loving family.

She was born to Horace and Lillian Marble in Plainview, Texas on June 20, 1941. June married Marvin Wells in South Plains, Texas on June 21, 1959. She was an active and involved member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Denton. June is preceded in death by her parents Horace and Lillian Marble and her brothers Don and Fred Marble.

June was raised on an irrigated farm in Floyd County, TX. She graduated from Floydada High School in 1959. She and Marvin moved to Denton in 1975 where they raised their three daughters.  June loved being a full-time homemaker and her house was often full of friends, family, food, and fellowship. After her daughters left home, June became a real estate broker, wedding cake baker, Master Florist, and brokerage retirement specialist. June loved her church and her church family and was involved in many church activities.

After a month-long battle with Leukemia, June succumbed to a massive stroke.

Visitation for June will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Denton with Rev. Buster Noah and Rev. Jerry Simmons officiating.

June is survived by her husband of 59 years Marvin Wells, daughters Kim Hayes, Jill Hurlbut and Crystal Wells, brother Keith Marble and 5 grandchildren.
