Junior Ray Moon of Denton passed away in Denton on December 7, 2017. He was born in Cassville, West Virginia on September 11, 1940 to Raymond Jefferys and Geraldine Moon.

He married Delores Ann Bailey on August 25, 1962 in Washington D.C.

Junior loved his trains, his Harley Davidson, classic cars and race cars, camping in his Amerigo camper, Elvis Presley, country music, his truck and his cowboy boots!!

Junior is survived by his wife, Delores Ann Moon of Denton, Texas, son, Kevin Lee Moon of Ponder, Texas, daughter, Alycia Ann Witt of Argyle, Texas, sisters, Mary Ellen Bell, Juanita Gail Beaureko brother, Richard Allen Jeffreys, five grandchildren,  Sharayah Denise Morrissey, H. Anthony Witt, Amber Jean-Marie Rosales, Christopher Anthony Moon, Eva Marie Moon and one great grandchild,  Jason Kade Witt.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert Wayne Jeffreys and Raymond Lloyd Jeffreys Jr.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 10-11 A.M. in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
