Karen Bacon Hardin, 61, of Ponder passed away on April 17, 2021 in Denton, after a hard-fought, five-year battle with cancer. She was born on November 28, 1959 in Frederick, Oklahoma to Frank and Evelyn Olene (Rogers) Bacon.

She was a strong, hard-working, loving mother and grandmother. She retired from The Kroger Company after 28 years, in order to focus on her health and spend time with her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, George Stevens, of Ponder, Texas, her daughter, Emily Morse, Emily's spouse, Daniel, and granddaughter, Pepper, of Denton, Texas, her son, Levi Hardin, of Olympia, Washington, her brother, Andy Bacon, of Frederick, Oklahoma, and her three nieces, Lesley Hardy, Linsey Bacon, and Laney Bacon.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father.

Visitation services will be held on Saturday, May 29, from 11:00am to 1:00pm, at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.
