Obituary

Karen Sue (Clardy) Stevens passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in Denton, Texas.

She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on April 26, 1959 to Robert Clardy and Etta Mae Glover. Karen married Kenneth  Stevens on September 1, 1996.

Karen repaired copiers for over 20 years over the North Texas region. She enjoyed family gatherings, being with friends, trips to Terlingua with family, old cars, and motorcycles. In her younger years, she enjoyed helping her dad work on cars. She was such a giving person. If she heard someone was in need, she was always there to help. She most certainly had a servant's heart.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents George Washington Glover and Dora Eva Glover, her mother Etta Mae Landers, stepfather Nolan Landers, stepsister Nola Kay Hammons, and stepsister Paula Walterscheid.

Karen is survived by her husband Kenneth Stevens of Denton; daughter Syble Bankston of Sanger; son Donald Nadeau and wife Tammie of Denton; stepson Kenny Stevens of Krum; stepdaughter Courtney Stevens of Decatur; father Robert Clardy of Denton; sister Cathy Taff and husband Gene of Abilene; brother David Clardy of Carthage, MO; sister Eva Reeder of Wylie; brother Stephen Landers and wife Holly of Georgetown; stepsister Vickie Epting and husband Tim of Denton; and stepsister Susie Housden of Fort Worth; and grandchildren: Clayton Allison, Justin Stevens, Marcus Newman, Garrett Stevens, Conner Allison, Andrew Newman, Savanah Newman, Nicholas Nadeau, and Shannon Nadeau.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
