Karen Bryant White, 67, of Denton passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. She was born October 8, 1948 in Fort Worth to Dr. David and Mildred Bonner Bryant.
She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from UT-Austin. She continued her education and completed her Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. Karen spent her career as a public school teacher specializing in Early Childhood Development.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Denton.
Karen is survived by her mother Mildred Bryant of Denton, her son, Austin White and Fiancée Ana Martinez of Lewisville, sister Cindy Elder and husband William, nieces, Allison Dickey and husband Cullen, Lexie Aderhold and husband Cullen, great- nephews, Warren Dickey and Tripp Aderhold all of Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her father and brother Dr. David Bryant II.
Family graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eastside Cemetery in Bridgeport, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the near future.
