Karl Henry Hickson, 58, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at home. He was born February 28, 1957 in Hackensack, New Jersey to George Richard and Ethel C. Drechsler Hickson. He served in the U.S. Army and was a printer for the U.S. Government. He married Marie Louise Naylor on September 9, 1995 in Hurst, Texas.

Visitation will be Monday, February 22, 2016 from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M. with service beginning at 7:00 P.M. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends following the service as well.

Burial will be Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.

He is survived by his Mother, Ethel Hickson, wife, Marie Hickson of Decatur; daughters, Jessica Hamer of Plymouth, MA and Laura Smith of St. Peters, MO; sisters, Debra Brown and husband Scott of Haltom City and Gretchen Hickson of Richland Hills; brothers, Tracy Hickson of Richland Hills and Gary Hickson and wife Brenda of Haltom City; and 4 grandchildren.
