Kasey Leigh Erwin passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in Denton, TX. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Jerry (Jr.) and Marla Giles on October 17, 1991. Kasey married her highschool sweetheart and soulmate Sam Erwin on August 26, 2012 and had their son, Brantley, in 2014. Kasey's husband and son were the most important people in her life and she loved them beyond words. Kasey graduated from Ponder High School in 2010 and shortly after went to a trade school and became a Registered Dental Assistant as well as a treatment coordinator. Kasey enjoyed dancing, whether performing on stage, or dancing around her kitchen. She had a passion for riding motorcycles with her husband and friends, and found true peace and happiness while riding. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends and would do anything in the world for them. Kasey was one of the kindest and most compassionate people you could have ever met. She was the epitome of sunshine. She radiated happiness.

Kasey is survived by her loving husband Sam Erwin and precious son Brantley of Ponder, her parents Jerry (Jr.) and Marla Giles, brother Dillion Giles of Ponder, sister Natalie Giles-Cannariato and brother-in-law James Cannariato of Ponder, grandparents Jerry (Sr.) and Kathleen Giles of Dallas, and grandmother Brenda Allman of Dallas.

Kasey is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Dustin Futch of Ponder and Grandfather Gene Allman of Dallas.

A memorial service will be held at Cross Timbers Church, 1119 US-377, Argyle, TX 76226 on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 5:00 P.M. A celebration of life will follow the service at The Dive, 3350 Unicorn Lake Blvd, Denton, TX 76210. All who knew and loved Kasey are welcome to come and celebrate her life.
