We regretfully announce the passing of Kathleen Mary Riney, 74 of Flower Mound, Texas.  Kathy passed away on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025.  She was born in Buffalo, New York to James Edward Duggan and Thelma Witnauer Duggan on December 10, 1950 and was one of seven siblings.  In 1976, she married Frederick Charles Riney and together built a wonderful home in the North Texas area.

Kathleen had a passion for Nursing, which kicked off a 35 year career of dedicated service as an RN.  Upon retirement she continued that passion by being there for her loved ones and fiercely dedicating herself to helping and spending time with her family and friends.

Kathleen was predeceased by Fred Riney and is survived by her 3 children, Robert Koller and wife Alejandra Koller of Heath, TX; Casey and her husband Doug Axelson of Corinth, Texas; Kelly Riney of Flower Mound; and the highlights of her days, her grandchildren, Logan Koller, Ava and Colin Axelson.

Visitation will begin at 9 AM on Saturday, September 27th, 2025, followed by A Celebration of Life service at 10 AM at DeBerry Funeral Home.
