Kathy Jo Lewis, 71, of Denton, Texas, passed away on March 13, 2024. She was born on August 11, 1952, in Temple, Texas, to the late Robert and Mildred Evans. Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Lewis, her children Crystal Anderson, Joe Grossel, sister Lisa Evans and brothers, John and James Evans. She is also survived by her grandchildren Troy, Caitlin, Jared, and great-grandchildren Naomi and Chevelle. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Judy Evans.

Kathy attended Soldotna Elementary School and Kenai Central High School. She later pursued a career as a flight attendant after graduating from Airline Flight Attendant School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Kathy worked at Kenai Air before transitioning to Carrs Market, were she dedicated many years of service until her retirement in 2008.

In her free time, Kathy enjoyed traveling with her husband, Bobby, to their timeshare condos across the country and in Mexico. She cherished the time spent with her family on trips to Disneyland and Mexico, talking about the fun they had often. She also had a passion for playing the slot machines at casinos and often found luck in her winnings.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Kathy's life will be held at 1:00 PM on April 27, 2024, at Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors, located at 2025 W. University Dr. Denton, Texas 76201.
