Kayley Denise Johnson, born on October 22, 1997, in Greenville, North Carolina, passed away on July 5, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. Her loss is deeply felt by her family and all who were fortunate to know her.

Kayley’s life was marked by her devotion to her loved ones and her generous, compassionate nature. As a devoted stay-at-home mom, Kayley poured her heart and soul into her family, ensuring that her home was a place filled with warmth, laughter, and love. Her steadfast commitment to her household was a reflection of her nurturing spirit. She filled her home with love, presence and laughter. Her spirit rejuvenated hard filled days and her love filled her husband and children's cups. She always had a smile or a laugh to bring up someone's spirits up and was ready to help anyone at the drop of a hat. Her charitable spirit shone through when she helped her family members with children or tasks and was always helping with a smile. 

Photography was another of Kayley’s passions. She had an extraordinary ability to capture the heartfelt moments of everyday life, preserving cherished memories for family and friends alike. Her photographs will continue to bring comfort and joy to those who loved her, serving as lasting reminders of her keen eye and gentle touch. Her clients gushed over her encouragement and kindness and ease of working with her. She made them feel comfortable and beautiful just by being herself on the job.

Kayley leaves behind her beloved husband, George Johnson IV, who shared in her journey, who was her best friend and the love of her life. She is survived by her parents Dewayne and Wendy Wheeler, both of whom provided her with unwavering love and encouragement throughout her life. She is also survived by her son; Benjamin Johnson and her 3 step children; Zoe Johnson, Audrey Johnson, George Johnson V (L.J.). She nurtured and comforted these children all the days she had with them and loved them more than life itself. Her brother Jordan Wheeler, paternal grandparents Gary and Bernice Wheeler, maternal grandmother, Karen Burnett. She also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; all whom adored and cherished her. 

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Kayley’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on July 9, 2026, at Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors, located at 2025 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201. Family, friends, and all who knew Kayley are invited to gather, remember, and pay their respects. 

Kayley Denise Johnson’s kind heart, creative spirit, and profound devotion to family have left a meaningful legacy. She will be remembered with love and gratitude by all whose lives she touched.
