IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kelli Michelle
Petty
August 21, 1970 – March 20, 2017
After a short, fierce battle with breast cancer, Kelli Michelle Petty (Forrest), of Denton, TX, went home to be with our Lord on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the age of 46. Kelli was born to parents Jessie Bishop (JB) Forrest and Sheryl Bellamy (Forrest) on August 21, 1970 in Dallas, TX.
She graduated from Richardson High School in 1989 and Richland Junior College in 1992 with a degree in Arts and Science. Kelli married Jerry "Lynn" Petty on June 10, 1995. Kelli worked for Oncor as a Senior Benefits Analyst. Kelli had a passion for helping others not only in her career providing medical and retirement benefits, but also as a humanitarian, donating countless hours and resources to local charities.
Kelli was a kind, loving and supportive person who was always there to help her friends and family. Her sense of humor was an art form which created fast friendships where ever she went. Kelli's humor came through in her fondness of unique hats which always broke the ice.
Kelli is survived by her spouse, Jerry "Lynn" Petty; her parents, Jessie Bishop (JB) and Mary Forrest, Sheryl and Ray Bellamy; sister, Leslie Butler and her husband Steve; nephews Cody and Parker Gajak and numerous in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, stepbrothers, stepsisters and other loved ones.
Kelli was preceded in death by her brother Christopher Neal Forrest and Taylor Brooke Gajak.
