Kenneth Brannam, 77, of Denton, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013. He was born on July 28, 1935 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Arlie Andrew Brannam and Tressie Vashti Phillips Brannam. He married Beverly Jean Thomas in Dallas on August 22, 1979. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was a football and baseball coach for the YMCA in Irving for many years. He worked for Bell Helicopter, Motor Truck and Hospice Pharmacy.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 6-8 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 29, 2013 in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Beverly; daughter, Debora Marie Wright; sons, Gene Brannam and wife Esther Marie, David W. Brannam, Elvis Brannam and wife Shayna, Kenneth (Dennis) Brannam, and David A. Brannam; sister, Mickey Carter and husband Billy Joe; brother, Chris Brannam and wife Barbara; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Tressie Ann Goodnight; and his parents.
