Kenneth "Dale" Brown, of Denton, went to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the age of 84. He was born on July 11, 1941, in Denton, Texas to Emmett and Novelle Wood Brown. Dale married the love of his life, Myrna Riney, on April 29, 1961.

Dale graduated from Denton High School in 1959 and later started Brown and Brown Body Shop with his brother, Jack Brown. Later in his career, his interests gravitated toward real estate. Dale had a very successful career in both the auto body industry and real estate for many years. He was also a member of Civitan and was president of the Automotive Service Association. Dale served as a deacon and an elder at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church of Denton for many years.

Dale is survived by the most wonderful woman he ever knew and wife of 64 years, Myrna Brown, three sons, Scott Brown and wife, Shari, Todd (deceased in 2020) and his wife Shannon, and Rodd Brown. He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren: Kristin and Garret Ashworth, Bailee and Paige Brown, Rylee and Kelly Brown, Jordan Brown, Peyton and Kaylie Brown, Mica Brown, and Olivia and Jacob Helzer. He is also survived by his amazing great grandchildren, Blakely Ashworth, Bentley Ashworth, Reagan Brown, Leighton Brown, Tatum Brown, Everest Brown, Poet Brown, Brecken Helzer, Callie Helzer, and one on the way! He is also survived by his brother E. Don Brown and his wife Ann and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Novelle, his brother, Jack Brown, and his son, Todd Brown.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors for visitation, Sunday, October 26th from 2-4 p.m.  A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 27th at Milestone Church in Argyle, with Toby Slough officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society .

The pallbearers will be Bailee Brown, Rylee Brown, Jordan Brown, Peyton Brown, Garret Ashworth, and Jacob Helzer.
