Obituary

Kenneth Edwin Frady, died Friday, March 6, 2015 in Denton. He was born in Crossroads, TX on March 9, 1922, the youngest child of Walter Lee and Prebble Elizabeth (Wilder) Frady.

Ken graduated from Sanger High School. During WWII, he was in the Army Air Corps at Guadalcanal. He married his wife Ruth Louise (Bradford) Frady on May 22, 1952, who preceded him in death. He spent the rest of his years in Denton.

Ken retired from a career of over 30 years with Texas Power & Light. He was a 50 year Mason and former adult leader for the Boy Scouts. He was a proud graduate of North Texas State College with a degree in Banking & Finance and where in his later years he volunteered his time. Additionally, he and Ruth were lifelong members of First Baptist Church of Denton, TX, where he was Deacon Emeritus.

He is survived by his son, Ed Frady and wife Marsha of Hico, TX; "Grandaddy" to three granddaughters: Rachel & Matt Stone of Humble, TX; Andi & JD Kimbrough of Grapevine, TX; Jackie Frady & Will Curb of Hico, TX; 7 great-grandchildren; loving nieces and nephews; other family and close friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m, at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11 at 2:00 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors, followed by graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Park.
