Kenneth Leon Brown passed away in Denton, Texas, Friday, September 1, 2023.  He was born in Washington D.C. to Leon and Frances Brown in 1944.  Ken enjoyed playing golf and Scrabble games.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother, Terry.  Ken is survived by his sister, Marilyn Taylor, brother in law, Jim, and nephews, Paul, Andrew, John, and Jeremy Ruga.

Ken graduated from the University of North Texas in 1966 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.  He worked as a store manager for Pier One Imports in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Atlanta, Georgia.  He returned to live in Dallas where he worked for several companies in accounting and marketing.

Ken excelled as a golfer and enjoyed playing in many tournaments  which was his lifelong passion.  He was of the Christian faith and often found purpose in helping others in need.  He looked forward to being at home with his Heavenly Father.
