Kenneth Leon Ward, 61, of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014. He was born on June 24, 1952 in Fort Worth to Leon Buford Ward and Maybelle Estell Turner Ward. He married Mary Jane Ward on November 17, 2007 in Bolivar, Texas. He volunteered at the Gainesville Food Bank, rode motorcycles, was an avid Christian, and loved watching "old western's."

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 6-8 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Pastor Bob Joyce officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Flowers, Dustin Bryant, Matthew Dalton, Mike Townsend, Greg Ward, and Jeff Ward.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Ward; sons, Greg Ward, Kenny Ward, Mike Townsend, Matthew Dalton, and Dustin Bryant; daughter, Tina Townsend; sister, Martha Ward; brothers, Stoney, Billy, and Jeff Ward; and 14 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
