Kennith Looper of Aubrey, Texas
Kennith Gerald Looper, 82, lifelong resident of Aubrey, Texas, went home to be with his lord and savior on April 13, 2013.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Vera Looper, wife, Mary Lou Looper, daughter, Betty Lou Hoffman and brother, Doyce Looper.
He is survived by a son, John Edward Looper. Son-in-law Randy Hoffman. Two granddaughters, Amy Hoffman Dick and husband Jason, Ashley Harris and husband Damon.
Kennith worked for the city of Denton for 26 years. He never knew a stranger. All were welcomed and loved at his home. He was passionate for helping others, putting together countless benefits in the Aubrey community. Though his BBQ was grand, this is not what people will remember most about this precious man. They will remember a man who showed a community the love for Jesus for generations. He was a faithful servant who will be sorely missed by his entire family and tight-knit community who all called Kennith "friend."
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 6-8pm at the first Baptist church of Krugerville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10am at the First Baptist Church of Krugerville with Rev's Sam Redfearn and Chris Walden officiating. Burial will follow at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey.
Memorials may be made to the Future Building Fund for the new sanctuary at the First Rock Fellowship in Aubrey.
