Obituary

Kermit Lee Lantz, 77, of Denton, Texas, passed away on April 19, 2014.

Kermit was born in Centralia, Washington to Dominic and May Lantz on April 18, 1937. He retired from the US Air Force as a Staff Sergeant in 1977 in San Antonio, Texas and was a veteran of both the Viet Nam and Korean wars.

Following his military service, Kermit had a distinguished career with Echlin Corporation in Bensenville, Illinois before retiring to Aberdeen Washington in 2002, living on Wishkah Road. He moved to Denton, Texas in 2013 to be with his children.

Kermit is survived by his mother, May Lantz of Lynnwood, Washington, and Brother Dean Lantz, of Vancouver, Washington.  He is also survived by his six sons; Richard, of Stafford, Virginia; Randall, of Denton, Texas; Ryan, of Flower Mound, Texas; Rory, of Allen, Texas; Ronny, of Flower Mound, Texas, and Robert, of Saint Thomas, US Virgin Islands, six grandchildren; Elizabeth, Eric, Mathew, John, Tanner, and Rylan, and one great grandson; Lucas.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, located at 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas on Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
