Kim Milne Ganslen, 61 of Denton passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Medical City Dallas Hospital. He was born October 14, 1950 in Champaign, IL to Richard V. and Helen Ganslen. He married Gail Cheri Ramsey in 1970 in Denton. She preceded him in death. He had retired from Boeing Aerospace as a trainer.
Kim had a great sense of humor and a smile that would brighten anyone's heart. He was considered a "big teddy bear" by his sister, Wendy. Kim's son will miss the conversations about his true hobby of cars. Kim had a great love for his grandsons and his dear friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 6 – 8 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors.
He is survived by his son, Keith Ganslen and wife Robin of Denton; grandchildren, Hagen Dean Ganslen and Alton Ray Ganslen; sisters, Wendy G. Jones of Denton and Victoria Pinnick and husband Ben of Harrison AR; 1 niece, 2 nephews and a great niece. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Cherie Ganslen, brothers, Bruce Ganslen and Brian Ganslen.
