Obituary

Kim Nanette Hastings, 65, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Kim was born in Inglewood, California on June 12, 1956, to Johnny and Ramona Walker.

Kim loved God and wanted to serve Him. She was loving and always ready to share her testimony and wisdom to help others. She loved and prayed always for her family and friends. She was very smart and loved to research whatever she was interested in or needed to know. If anything needed to be fixed, built, or repaired, she would figure out how to do it. She was creative, loving to sew, crochet, cook, clean, write, and garden.

No matter how hard things got, she persevered.

Kim is lovingly remembered by her husband, Bill Hastings, sons, Ian Hastings, Aaron Chezem and Jedidiah Collins, and their wives, Carolyn Hastings, Nikki Chezem and Skye Collins. She was also the doting grandmother to eight beautiful grandbabies: Henry and Hanna Hastings, David and Harper Chezem, Arabelle and Zachariah Collins, and Summer and Isabella Seanz. Kim is additionally survived by her sisters, Heather Mahon, and Christi Carter, sister-in-law, Susan Hastings, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and their children.

Kim is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Ramona Walker, brother-in-law, Tommy Hastings, and late husband John Thomas Collins.
