On Friday, December 13, 2019, Kimberly C. Johnson transitioned into eternal peace after a long battle with cancer.

Kimberly C. Johnson was born on June 30, 1968 in Washington D.C.  She was the only child born to Wade and Delores Holland.

She graduated from Northwestern High School in 1986, in 1992 she earned a B.S. degree from Hampton University, and in 1993 she earned an Air Traffic Controller degree from Minneapolis Community and Technical College.

She worked as an Air Traffic Controller for many years in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex.  She most recently worked in Sales for Waste Management.

At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined New Bethel Baptist Church where she served faithfully in the children's choir, Usher Board, Sunday Schools and other church programs.

On November 01, 2003, Kimberly married Jamie Johnson, and enjoyed a wonderful life with him until her death.  She enjoyed countless family gatherings, trips, vacations, birthdays, parties and traditional celebrations with boundless enthusiasm and joy.  She had a loving, giving spirit and was active in several organizations.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 16 years, Jamie, her dog Hailey, her mother Delores Graves and step-father, Samuel Graves; aunts, Lula Delaney, Eartha L. White (Edward), Daisy Scott (Elijah), and Martha Brazell (Eric); uncles, Arthur L. Myers and William Grant (Quandra); sisters-in-law, Barbara Seals, Janice Nash (Dr. Arthur Nash); special cousins, Leroy and Sonya Gregory; special friend, Teresha Renee Thomas, and host of other relatives and friends.
