Lacinda Sparks Hoke of Valley View, TX. passed away at home on July 23, 2018. She was born on November 15, 1964 in Irving, TX. to William Shirrell and Barbara J. Sparks.

She was a graduate of Grapevine High School and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Roanoke.

Lacinda married Cecil Mark Hoke in 1989 in North Richland Hills, TX. She had a true passion for helping others and worked as a hospice nurse for Baylor Medical Center in Grapevine, TX.

Lacinda is survived by her husband, Cecil Mark Hoke, three children, Jason Wayne & Misty Hoke, Marcie Christine & Hunter Holt and Lacinda Susanne & Matthew Martinez forever remember her.

One of Lacinda's greatest pleasures was being a grandmother aka "Big Momma", to 9 of her grandchildren, Logan, Brooklyn, Benjamin, Caleb, Emily, Blaine, Shelby, Jaida, and Elijah. She is also survived by her mother, Barbara J. Sparks, sister, Sheri Renee' & husband Rusty Templeton, along with her nieces and nephews, Amber Fatheree and Russell Templeton, her in laws, Cecila Sue & Wayne Roberson, brother in laws, Nelson and Tamera Hoke, Scott and Darlene Hoke and Lance Hoke. Lacinda will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.

We will celebrate Lacinda's life on Friday July 27, 2018 from 6-8 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors, 2025 W. University Dr. Denton, TX 76201. Phone number: 940-383-4200

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday July 28, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at the Town of Westlake Cemetery 3101 J.T. Ottinger Road Westlake, TX 76262, also known as the Oddfellows Cemetery in Roanoke, TX.
