Larry Paul Crawford, age 60, passed into Glory to be with our Lord on April 8, 2018 after many years of illness due to multiple health issues. He was born August 23, 1957 in Dallas, Texas to Lloyd and Audrey Crawford, the fifth of seven children. Larry attended Sanger ISD graduating from Sanger High School in May 1976. He married the love of his life, Rene Sanders in Sanger, Texas on June 11, 1977 in Sanger, Texas. Larry and Rene made their home in Denton for 41 years raising one son, Tyler Crawford.

Larry was employed by Glidden Paint Company for 30 years where he excelled in many specialty fields as a paint technologist. He was considered a valued asset as mentioned by many of his co-workers.

Larry was a true outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting and camping. A member of the Chunk & Wind Bass Club for 10 years, he enjoyed tournament fishing with friends. His most treasured time was spent traveling with Rene and Tyler as a child and visiting with family and friends. Larry never met a stranger. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God Church in Denton.

Larry is survived by wife, Rene and son Tyler Crawford of Denton, brothers, Bill & wife Margaret Crawford of Denton, Kenneth & wife Martha Crawford of Weatherford, Richard & wife Judy Crawford of DeSoto, sisters, Veta & husband Frank Ehrhorn of Aubrey, Candice Faulk of Rockwall, sister-in-laws, Dianne Crawford of Sanger, Sherlyn White of Denton, multiple nieces and nephews and special fur babies Sugar Bear and Lilly Bell. He is preceded in death by parents Lloyd & Audrey Crawford and brother, Roger Crawford

Visitation will be Tuesday April 10, 2018 from 6-8 P.M. at Deberry Funeral Directors, funeral service will be Wed. April 11, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God 1101 Audra Lane Denton, Texas with Pastors Randy Snow and Terry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Cooper Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Crawford, Rick & Chad Howard, Paul Grove, Rod Ballou, Danny Johnson, Rick Ivy and Taylor White.
