Obituary
Larry Smith, 71, of Argyle, Texas passed away on April 9, 2016 from a stroke. He was born in Lancing, Tennessee on September 11, 1944. He was married to Carolyn Maples Smith who passed in October of last year from Multiple Sclerosis.
Larry graduated from Central High and received a Criminal Justice degree from Oklahoma State. Larry retired from the Air Force after serving his country for 23 years, where he received numerous accommodations and achievements. He was always proud of his time in the service.
He is survived by his daughter Michelle Peer, sons, Blake Smith and Matt Smith, step daughter, Lori Griffith Walsh, son in law, Kyle Garza, six grandchildren, Ashley, Audrey, DeVere Peer III, Morlie Smith, Mallory and Cameron Walsh.
A Memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M., April 22, 2016 at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.
