Larry John Terry, Sr., 66, of Sanger, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 in Denton. He was born November 17, 1949 in Slaton, Texas to John B. Terry and Ruth Helen McCray Terry. He married Rebecca Splawn on December 15, 1967 at First Baptist Church in Corinth. He was retired.
Larry was a loving husband, dad, papaw, son, brother and friend to all.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Nell Terry; sons, Larry John Terry, Jr. of Sanger, Eric Cameron Terry of Justin; mother, Ruth Stacy; sisters, Deborah Helen Lewis of McAlester, OK, Norma Sue Ortiz of Kiowa, OK; brother, Ronald Lynn Terry of Oolagah, OK; and six grandchildren, Marissa, Alexis, Peyton, Austin, Tori and Zelda, and countless nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, John B. Terry.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Bolivar Baptist Church in Bolivar, Texas. A service will be Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Bolivar Baptist Church with Rev. Dickie Amyx officiating. Burial will follow at Bolivar Cemetery.
