Obituary
Laura I. "Jean" Smeltzer, 83, of Denton passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 in Denton. She was born December 1, 1931 to Susie Audrey and John Homer Casey in Brookston, Texas. She was a member of the Sherman Drive Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 27th, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with the service to begin at 10:30 in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
If desired memorial contributions may be made to the World Bible School, P.O. Box 2169, Cedar Park, TX 78630.
Jean is survived by her step children, Roland K. Smeltzer of Nevada, Julia Bearup and husband Keith of Goodyear AZ, Timothy Smeltzer of Nevada, daughter in law, Joyce Ballard of Phoenix AZ and also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald L. Smeltzer and her three sons, Michael, Terry and Gregory.
