G. Lavell Mizer, MD., 75, of Denton passed away on September 18, 2020 in Denton TX. He was born in Missouri on January 27, 1945.

After medical school, he joined the United States Army where he was a Lieutenant Colonel medical core. He joined Surgery Associates Of North Texas upon moving to Denton, TX and later He served as Chief of Staff at Denton Regional Hospital. He was a member of numerous medical associations and a member of Southmont Baptist Church. He was a kind, thoughtful Christian man and loved his dear wife and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Mizer of Denton.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on October 3rd 2020 at 2:00pm
