Obituary

Lena Bell Lambert, 91, of Denton, passed away at her home on January 8, 2016. She was born in September 8, 1924 in Frisco, Texas to Willie Lee and Alice (Grayson) Lambert.

She attended Frisco Schools and was a member of St. Andrews Church of God in Christ in Denton, Texas. She worked for The Border Cowboy Truck Stop and the 76 Truck Stop in Denton.

She is survived by her daughter, Ruby Lawrence of Denton, nine grandchildren, Regina Evans, Dustin Choice, Tanja Mueller, Elkie Crawford, Francesca McGee, Ronald Choice II, Mitcha Choice, Sharis Manuel and Ivory Gober III, thirty great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by daughter, Charlotte Choice, sons, Danny Revels and Ivory Gober, sisters Laura Perry, Mozell Hunter Harris, Johnnie Lambert Mahan and Claudia Williams, brothers Joe Hunter and Roy Hunter, and Walter Lambert and her mother and father, Willie Lee and Alice Lambert.

The family will receive friends at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Thursday, January 14, 2015 from 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be held at St. Andrews Church of God in Christ in Denton on Friday, January 15 at 11:00 AM, interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
