Leon (Lee) David Kremers 79, of Denton, Texas passed away on Thursday, May 19,2022, surrounded by his family, after a lengthy hospitalization.

Lee was born in Glendive, MT on October 29,1942, to Edward and Lucille (Schmitz) Kremers. He was a graduate of Golva High School, class of '59. As a young man, he worked on the family farm and in the oil fields. On October 6, 1962, Lee married Judy Michels, a love that was shared for 59 years.  They moved to Inglewood, California in 1965, where Lee attended Northrop Institute of Technology.

Lee worked at Continental Airlines for 21 years and 17 years with American Airlines as Manager of Maintenance and Engineering, retiring in 2003 to Robson Ranch in Denton, Texas.

Lee enjoyed many hobbies, including charitable activities, water skiing, golf, refurbishing Volkswagen's, traveling, building and riding motorcycles, watching the Dallas Cowboys, entertaining family and friends, and working out in his brightly colored fitness gear.  His love for his family, friends, community, and the USA was always on display and unwavering. He actively volunteered delivering Meals on Wheels for 17 years, assisted at the Tarrant County Food Bank, and cherished riding his Harley as a member of the Patriot Guard.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Hager (stepfather), Paul Kremers (brother), and Darlene Wilson (sister-in-law).  He is survived by his wife Judy, two daughters, Kelly (Kevin) Mahannah, and Carol (Jim) Reese; three grandchildren Zachary (Teresa) Kremers, Jack (Jennifer) Mahannah, and Kacey Mahannah, five great grandchildren, siblings, Cynthia (Dominic) Schaff, and Edward (Teresa Ann) Kremers, sister-in-law, Mardelle (Calvin) Helm, brother-in-law, Darrell (Clarice) Michels, sister-in-law, Mary Lou Kremers; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held at St. Marks Catholic Church in Argyle, Texas on June 2, 2022, at 10:00 am.

The family's charity of choice is Metroport Meals on Wheels in Roanoke, Texas.
