Leona Joyce Ilten, 72 of Denton passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at her home.  She was born November 22, 1943 in Denton to Leonard George Terry and Ruby Faye Norman Terry.

She attended Denton Public Schools.  She married David Edward Ilten on July 7, 1972 in Gardnerville, Nevada.  She was owner of North Counties Communications prior to retirement.

She is survived by her husband David E. Ilten of Denton, daughters, Tiffany R. Waits and Janette J. Ilten both of Denton, grandchildren; Rebecca R. Ramirez, Elizabeth M. Ramirez and Caylin C. Waits all of Denton, sisters, Linda J. Shaw, Lanetta Reid, brother, George Edward Terry

Graveside Services will be held a McCurley Cemetery in Lewisville, Texas on a Monday, October 10, 2016 at 2:00 P.M.
