Obituary
Leona M. Murphree, 88, of Weatherford, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014. She was born on July 26, 1925 in Fort Worth to C.W. Meine and Tillie Kenas Meine. She graduated from Riverside High in Fort Worth and was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Lewisville.
Visitation will be held at Blue Mound United Methodist Church in Sanger on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 10:00 am with the service beginning at 11:00 am. Rev. Carroll Caddell will officiate. Burial will follow at Blue Mound Cemetery.
Leona is survived by her daughters, Sherry Wood and Joyce Gabelsberg; sister, Juanita Ringo; 4 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Josephine Stewart; and brother. C.W. Meine, Jr.
